OUR PROCESS / UK-WIDE
A simpler way
to get a better site.
A sensible route from an ageing website to a modern replacement — with clear decisions and no unnecessary complexity.
Show us what you've got.
Send the existing website address, explain what the business does and tell us what frustrates you about the current site. If you have particular pages, photographs or features worth keeping, say so.
We look at the current presentation, usability, important content and the likely scope of a redesign.
Agree what better looks like.
We'll discuss an approach that fits the business, explain what's included and agree the fee and number of review rounds before building the finished site. For selected projects, a limited private homepage concept may help demonstrate the direction.
A concept is not a publicly launched replacement, and we don't promise speculative full-site builds.
Build and refine.
We work through layout, copy, imagery and navigation, then test key interactions and mobile layouts. You review the agreed deliverables, and we work through the agreed revisions.
The final website should feel considered and easy to use, not merely different.
Launch carefully.
We agree how the website will be published, what happens to the old pages, who manages hosting and the domain, and how enquiries will be received. Redirects and contact forms are tested as part of a suitable launch plan.
After launch, any ongoing maintenance is a separate arrangement rather than an open-ended promise.
PRACTICAL DETAILS
No mystery.
No big promises.
Will my old website stay online during the redesign?
Usually the preferred approach is to work on a separate preview and replace the live site only after approval and testing. The exact deployment depends on the existing hosting setup.
What if I already have hosting and a domain?
That's fine. We review access and technical requirements before recommending whether anything needs changing.
Do you need my passwords immediately?
No. Never send passwords in an initial enquiry. Access is only discussed when needed and should be shared securely.
What if I need other features later?
We can discuss what is appropriate for the redesign, but Vibe is deliberately a specialist website-transformation service, not an open-ended software development agency.
